Use cases

Real-world examples

A weather forecast is only as useful as the decision it lets you make. A few patterns that come up daily.

Morning commute

The hourly view between 7 and 10 a.m. tells you whether to pick the umbrella or the bike helmet. Precipitation probability above 60% over two consecutive hours usually means "bring the gear"; isolated spikes often blow over.

Weekend plans

The 7-day view shows which day looks driest. We highlight "this weekend" so you can compare Saturday vs Sunday at a glance. If both days disagree across model updates, lean towards the closer one — it's more confident.

Packing a trip

The 14-day view sets expectations (heat wave, cold snap, rainy week). Don't trust exact temperatures that far out — use it to choose between summer kit and a jacket.

Outdoor sports

Wind matters as much as rain for cycling, sailing or paragliding. Our hourly tab shows gust peaks; a 40 km/h average with 70 km/h gusts is a no-go for a paraglider even under blue sky.
